Under the back seat of my car, I noticed something very unusual

Deep beneath the back seat, tucked away in a spot no one would ever think to look, I spotted something strange. At first glance, it looked like a withered, pale, and fuzzy plant—like something uprooted and forgotten for ages. I thought, “Maybe someone dropped some dried leaves or grass?” But as I examined it more closely, a creeping unease settled over me.

The “plant” didn’t look dead at all—in fact, it seemed alive, almost growing. It twisted in a curved shape, like something slithering or crawling, its surface covered with strange spikes or crystalline formations that resembled coral or jagged teeth. But the truth beneath that unsettling facade was far more disturbing.

It was salt crystallization—an eerie, creeping growth born from a nearby battery leak or, even worse, a toxic spray can hidden behind the seat. The salt seemed almost alive, spreading relentlessly as it ate away at the plastic, metal, and upholstery around it. What looked harmless at first was actually a clear warning sign of corrosion—and a dangerous chemical reaction quietly unfolding beneath my very eyes.

And now think about it: how long has it been growing there, hidden, without my knowledge? What if I had inhaled too closely?
