UPDATE (9:30 P.M.) — All Summer Campers Accounted For, Except at Camp Mystic
SAN ANTONIO – In the aftermath of catastrophic flooding in Kerr County, officials confirm that all campers from every summer camp—except Camp Mystic—have been located and reunited with their families.
Tragically, 24 children remain unaccounted for, most of them young girls from Camp Mystic, where floodwaters tore through the grounds, washing away cabins, vehicles, and lives.
Lt. Governor Dan Patrick reported that the flooding caused “devastating structural damage,” and that search and rescue teams continue working through the night to locate the missing.
