Russia Unleashes ‘Oreshnik’ Missile Threat Over NATO—World War III Fears Surge

A prominent Russian military expert has sparked global concern by issuing a chilling threat to the U.S. and Europe, urging Moscow to escalate its stance even further.

International tensions remain dangerously high as Russia continues to dominate global headlines. Former U.S. President Donald Trump has openly condemned President Vladimir Putin’s aggressive posture, warning of harsher sanctions if he fails to pursue peace in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, European leaders are sounding the alarm over the possibility of Russia expanding its military ambitions. They caution that any strike against a NATO member could trigger a full-scale confrontation—one that risks spiraling into a devastating global conflict.

Kremlin spokesman and military expert Captain Vasily Dandykin has stoked fresh fears of a looming global conflict with his latest inflammatory remarks, offering no reassurance to a world already on edge.

When questioned about Russia’s missile capabilities and whether they could target European nations such as Estonia and its capital, Tallinn, Dandykin delivered a chilling response:
“I don’t think much will be needed. But seriously, I think it’s time for our ‘Oreshnik’ to come out on stage again.”
He added, “During this ultimatum period, I believe our defense industry hasn’t been sleeping—it’s already produced enough missiles.”

The Oreshnik missile system—believed to be of intermediate range—has recently seen deployment, most notably in the heavy bombardment of Ukraine last November, signaling its active role in Russia’s current arsenal.

Captain Dandykin didn’t stop there. Responding to reports of Donald Trump allegedly threatening to bomb Moscow unless Russia shifts course, Dandykin doubled down, asserting that it’s time “to present an ultimatum to Kyiv’s guardians.”
“They don’t abandon their scoundrels until they’ve squeezed them dry—they won’t calm down,” he said, accusing Ukraine’s Western allies of fueling the conflict.

Referring to President Putin’s previously declared stance, Dandykin reiterated:
“Either Russia will be free and sovereign, or it will not exist at all.”

His rhetoric also took aim at Europe—particularly Germany—claiming that anti-Russian sentiment has reached fascist overtones. Dandykin accused German Chancellor Friedrich Merz of echoing Nazi ideology:
“It seems that Merz’s fascist grandfather has woken up, and the phrase ‘Drang nach Osten’ has gotten stuck in his head.”

These explosive statements arrive amid already fragile geopolitical relations, sparking renewed fears that any misstep could ignite a much broader conflict between Russia and NATO forces.

Dandykin further intensified his rhetoric by accusing Poland of harboring expansionist ambitions, stating:
“The Poles are approaching, and they are already demanding access to the Black Sea. In a word, we have a lot of work ahead of us.”

He then invoked chilling historical parallels, referencing the infamous Nazi-era slogan “Drang nach Osten”—which translates to “Drive to the East.” The phrase was used by Nazi propagandists to justify Germany’s brutal expansion into Eastern Europe during World War II. By drawing this comparison, Dandykin implied that modern European leaders, particularly in Poland and Germany, are reviving dangerous ideologies under the guise of opposing Russia.
