Kamylla Cristina Rosa de Oliveira, a rising entertainer and model, tragically lost her life after being struck by a speeding vehicle on the GO-217 highway in Piracanjuba, Goiás, Brazil.
The 22-year-old had pulled over to the shoulder to fix her car’s wheel when the heartbreaking accident occurred. Kamylla was traveling with two companions when their vehicle suddenly encountered mechanical problems—setting the stage for this devastating tragedy.
The driver told the Goiás Military Police that one of the front wheels felt loose while they were driving.
They quickly exited the vehicle on the highway shoulder to check the problem. Upon closer inspection, they discovered several lug nuts—the bolts that secure the wheel—were missing.
It remains unclear whether someone had deliberately removed the bolts to cause harm or if they simply came loose and fell off over time.
Tragically, while Kamylla was attempting to fix the wheel, she was struck by another passing vehicle.
Tragically, Kamylla died instantly at the scene.
The driver responsible for the hit-and-run was reportedly speeding and fled without stopping.
Kamylla’s companions were unable to provide the police with any details about the vehicle, only mentioning that it was traveling in the same direction as them.
Laura Teixeira, Kamylla’s friend, shared her grief on social media, writing,
“We had just finalized our long-awaited project together.”
“Did I ever tell you enough how much I loved you, my friend?
God, I’m in so much pain.”
Another friend expressed,
“Whenever I think of you, I’ll remember how joyful and radiant you were.”
“Now you’re reunited with the angels. Rest in beautiful peace, and may God bring comfort to your entire family.”
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the star’s tragic death.
