A woman’s innocent photo of a sweet moment with her boyfriend has turned into viral comedy gold after she discovered an embarrassing detail.
Twenty-five-year-old Megan Doron from Toronto had been visiting a cranberry farm with her family when she decided to snap some photos with her partner.
The image appeared perfectly normal at first: the couple stood together in casual autumn attire, with Megan wearing a black T-shirt and jeans while her boyfriend wore a blue top and joggers, his arm wrapped affectionately around her shoulders against a scenic countryside backdrop.
But upon closer inspection back at home, Megan noticed something that sent her into fits of laughter.

Megan’s shadow, cast by the angle of the sun, created an exaggerated silhouette with what appeared to be an extremely pointy nose and chin, reminiscent of a cartoon witch or villain.
“My family and I just got back from the cranberry farm and as normal we took pictures,” Doron explained, per Newsweek. “When I got back home I was going through them. I didn’t notice at first but then I was like OMG! And immediately sent it to my sisters.”
She shared the discovery on TikTok with the caption: “Thinking this was a nice picture with my boyfriend,” followed by a zoomed-in shot of the offending shadow with the text: “Who are you?”
She added in her post: “Now I’m even more self-conscious about my side profile!”
The video has since accumulated over seven million views, with users drawing comparisons to everything from the Wicked Witch to movie characters.
Despite the initial mortification, Megan took the viral attention in stride.
“My sisters and I couldn’t stop laughing so I thought why not post it and make other people laugh, if they even notice it,” she said.
“I’m honestly happy with the reaction. I truly wasn’t expecting it to blow up as much as it did but overall I’m happy I can make people laugh!”
