Sunny Hostin Deletes X Account After Trump Win, Vocal About Elon Musk

Sunny Hostin recently opened up about her profound distress over Donald Trump’s return to the White House. The thought of his victory was, in her words, deeply unsettling.

The View’s Firm Stance on the Election

Hostin wasn’t alone in her feelings. The entire panel on The View has been vocal in their support for Kamala Harris and critical of Trump throughout the heated election season. They didn’t mince words, calling Trump “psychotic” and highlighting what they saw as questionable and troubling behavior.

Reflecting on the political climate, Hostin remarked, “Back in 2016, we weren’t sure what to expect from a Trump presidency. But now, we know. We see the extent of his nearly unchecked power.”

Immediately after Donald Trump’s win, Sunny Hostin followed through on her promise and deleted her X account. She explained that she wanted to distance herself entirely from Elon Musk, who has recently become a prominent government figure as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Hostin didn’t hold back about her stance on Musk and his companies, declaring, “I have no plans to buy a Tesla, nor do I intend to invest in Tesla stocks.”

Her disappointment with Twitter—now rebranded as X under Musk’s direction—is unmistakable. “I loved Twitter once, but Musk ruined it,” she lamented.

She added, “Twitter was chaotic enough before, but changing its name to X was a huge mistake. Nobody actually calls it X!”

Recently, rumors spread across media outlets claiming that Sunny Hostin used a derogatory term for Elon Musk during an episode of The View. Some reports even suggested that co-host Joy Behar had to step in with an apology, clarifying that Hostin’s supposed remarks did not reflect the show’s stance.

However, these allegations have been thoroughly debunked. No reputable news source has verified the claims, and no video evidence has surfaced to support the story.
