THIS is the chilling moment a teenager leads his mum to a park before recording himself beating her to death in a horrifying four-hour attack.
Tristan Roberts, 18, talked about killing his “terrified” mum Angela Shellis in online posts and recordings after he murdered her in a park in Wales.
A four-hour voice recording detailed how Roberts first attacked his mum in her bedroom, inflicting bruising to her face and strangulation injuries.
It was so chilling that the judge decided not to play it in court.
The mum had been kept prisoner in her room for hours as her son brandished a hammer.
He convinced her to leave the house under the pretence that she would have her injuries tended to at a local pub – but instead she was killed.
The teen, who spent hours every day on gaming platform Discord, later logged on and boasted about what he had done, Mold Crown Court heard.
Roberts was today jailed for life with a minimum term of 22 years and six months in prison.
He planned the killing for three weeks, while his horror attack lasted from 11pm until 3.30am – and he recorded it the entire time as a “trophy”.
On the day of the murder, he said in a voice recording: “This is Tristan Roberts.
